The Friday 56

THE FRIDAY 56: July 3rd, 2015

Smaller Friday 56

The Friday 56 is a weekly meme hosted by Freda’s Voice, and the rules are pretty simple:

  • Grab a book, any book.
  • Turn to page 56 or 56% in your eReader
(If you have to improvise, that’s OK.)
  • Find any sentence, (or few, just don’t spoil it).
  • Post it.
  • Add the url to your post on Freda’s Voice.

I feel like I should apologise again for the lack of posts. Everything is up and running now though so it’s all back to normal.

The books I chose this week is Tales of the 23rd Precinct by Kevin 11. This is another book I haven’t read, and I have been deliberately choosing books I haven’t read for my recent Friday 56 posts because I’m curious – if you haven’t already realised. Anyway, here’s the quote:

Issac, and the Caucasian male shot in the right hand who later turned out to be a criminal by the name of Terry Sykes were captured by the police. Richards and the Australian man who was later identified as Matt Weston were now dead just below them on the E platform.

What do you think? Can you guess what it’s about? The title should help a bit.

If you have a Friday 56 post of your own link it in the comments so I can check it out.

Happy Friday!

  1. I have to say that I really like the quote and want to find out more. However, I probably would not have picked this up if I’d only seen the cover. I know that’s bad form, but the cover does not appeal to me at all. I’d probably only pick it up to check whether it’s a graphic novel. But now that I know a little about how it’s written I might give it a try.

    Here’s my Friday 56
