THE FRIDAY 56: June 12th, 2015

The Friday 56 is a weekly meme hosted by Freda’s Voice, and the rules are pretty simple:

• Grab a book, any book.
• Turn to page 56 or 56% in your eReader
  (If you have to improvise, that’s OK.)
• Find any sentence, (or few, just don’t spoil it).
• Post it.
• Add the url to your post on Freda’s Voice.

This week I chose The Fairy Wren by Ashley Capes, which is one of the few books I have in ebook form, and I plan to read it some time soon.

‘While he did feel good, very good indeed after Kelly’s visit, there was no point going into detail about the hell the he was probably going to face with Dennis Maddocks. For now, he could ignore that, and Eddie wouldn’t want to hear about it anyway.’
