5 Facts About Me

1. I have been a vegetarian for four years now. I became one when I was fourteen and I was walking home from school, and there was a bird lying in the road, really badly injured, so injured you could see it’s brain, and yet it was somehow still alive. Kids from school were crowding around it, poking it and laughing. That upset so much I went home crying and I couldn’t eat meat without feeling guilty after that.
2. I love Marvel movies. My boyfriend actually asked me out by getting me The Amazing Spider-Man on DVD as an early birthday present and taping a note to it that was asking me to be his girlfriend. He also got me crisps. I love crisps.
3. I have had a lot of pets. By that I mean four dogs, six cats, three rabbits, two degus, and so many goldfish I have lost count. I currently have a golden Labrador named Cookie, and Yorkshire terrier named Sherlock (my parents named him), and a Maine Coon cat named Malika. Even though she is six months old, Malika is the size of an average house cat and can beat up Sherlock very easily when they play fight.
4. I have had the bottom layer of my hair dyed red for almost as long as I have been a vegetarian. I now don’t even have to dye it that often because the colour stays so well. But it’s safe to say that it’s very very damaged.
5. I have a teddy bear named Timmy who I have had since I was eighteen months old (I only got him because I pulled him off the shelf in a shop and refused to let go) and I sleep with him every night. I am definitely not ashamed of that fact.
