While I was away in France I ordered fifteen books from The Book People. I know, I know, that’s a lot of books, but they were on sale, and I will continue to use that excuse. I mean £18.99 is bloody good for so many books! So, anyway, here is the list of books I bought, and I will leave the prices too, just for anybody who is interested.
Best Ever Fiction Collection – 10 books for £7, but now £5
- The Summer of the Bear by Bella Pollen
- When We Were Bad by Charlotte Mendelson
- This Perfect World by Suzanne Bugler
- Mateship with Birds by Carrie Tiffany
- Alice Bliss by Laura Harrington
- The Silver Linings Play Book by Matthew Quick
- One Summer by David Baldacci
- One Moment, One Morning by Sarah Rayner
- Time’s Echo by Pamela Hartshorne
- The House of Eliott by Jean Marsh
The Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins for £5.99
The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey for £2
A Man Called Ove by Fredrick Backman for £4
I have already read The Silver Linings Playbook and am planning to review it, but if you have any recommendations for what to read next please tell me as I’m slightly lost.
Also, if you do live in the UK, please check out The Book People, especially for their collections of books as they are the best for value (meaning stupidly cheap).
I’ve read One Summer by David Baldacci; it made me cry! 🙂

Oh great. I have a feeling that when I read it it’s going to be like The Fault in Our Stars all over again! 🙂
